Technical service has always been the foundation on which we build our business. That’s why our staff receive continuous education and training to ensure they’re right up to date with new product developments, virus updates and problem solving techniques. From our Northamptonshire base at Sywell we operate a team of highly skilled IT engineers. So whether your school or college needs a site visit, collect and deliver repair or return-to-base servicing, we’re there for you. To cover your need for peace of mind on your IT equipment we offer maintenance contracts, ad-hoc repairs or a deposit scheme.

We can repair almost anything, and the item does not have to have been purchased from us originally. So call us for repairs, PCs, Notebooks, Projectors and Whiteboards.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
Many schools and colleges prefer the peace of mind and fixed costs associated with our annual maintenance contract.

We agree a schedule of IT equipment to be included in the contract. We give you a fixed price for the year to include all parts and labour charges. When you need a repair on one of the items covered, you simply call us quoting your contract number. We do the rest. There is nothing more to pay.

And we offer our maintenance contract customers call out within 8 hours during working hours.

AD-HOC REPAIRS
From our spacious, well-equipped workshops in Sywell we offer free estimates on the majority of IT equipment – and operate on a no-fix, no-charge basis – on all equipment brought to us.

Deliver your faulty equipment to us and you’ll receive an estimate within three working days. We’ll also let you know exactly how long your repair will take.

Alternatively, it may be more convenient for you to book your service or repair for a certain day – if so, simply give us a call.

And if your repair is particularly urgent, ask about our priority service, possibly with collection and delivery included. Alternatively we can offer to complete the repair on your site, with a minimum 2-hour charge.

And at Ashby there are no nasty surprises. For site visits we charge on an hourly basis with no call-out fee or other hidden costs. You pay for our time, our mileage and the parts we use.

DEPOSIT SCHEME
Many Ashby customers like to take advantage of our Deposit Scheme for repairs and servicing.

By depositing an agreed sum of money with us to cover future repairs, you can become a priority customer and receive a number of important benefits.

When work needs doing, as a priority customer you will receive an estimate within 2 working days Estimates are free and a no-fix, no-fee basis applies to all priority customers. In addition, our team of expert engineers is also on hand to offer free technical support by phone, to eliminate any basic faults.

And of course you have complete control of how your money is spent. We’ll make sure you receive regular statements - and unlike a maintenance contract, any outstanding money may be refunded on request. You also eliminate the need to raise a purchase order each time you need a repair. And we don’t need to send you an invoice for payment for individual repairs either.

We have extensive experience in local authority, education and NHS contracts – in fact we are sole provider of data and voice cabling for Northampton General Hospital.

Upgrades
We will provide free estimates on all computers brought into our Sywell workshops. Ask about anything from a simple memory upgrade to the latest processors, motherboards and video cards. And if you think you might be running out of disk space, relax. Our specialist team can replace your disk whilst keeping your existing data safe and sound.
